Water Softening

Water Softening

Water softening is the process of removing high concentrations of dissolved minerals—specifically calcium and magnesium from water.

Our water treatment portfolio features versatile softening technologies, including Caustic, Resin-based, and CO2 solutions, engineered to meet the demands of modern industrial processes.

Caustic Softening:

Utilizes high-purity caustic soda to precipitate hardness minerals directly without requiring lime.

Nearly 100% reagent utilization, lower sludge production, and effective removal of both temporary and permanent hardness.

Resin Softening:

Resin Softening uses cation-exchange resins to swap calcium and magnesium ions in the water for sodium ions.

It is highly efficient and cost-effective, long-lasting, low-maintenance, and prevents scale buildup—improving appliance lifespan and effectiveness.

CO2 softening:

CO2 Softening involves injecting CO₂ into water to lower pH by forming bicarbonate, reducing alkalinity and minimizing corrosion and scaling.

This treatment is environmentally friendly, leaves no harmful residues, improves odour, and uses mild, easy-to-control chemistry.
